The Mission

     Our mission at Unity Baptist is to celebrate the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, communicate the Love of God, and cultivate the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit. We seek to fulfill this sense of mission through a variety of ministries, mission relationships, and fellowship opportunities.

     As a local Baptist church, we cooperate with others in the work of Christ through our participation in the Pilot Mountain Baptist Association (regional), the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (state), and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (national & global). We are also a member church in the North Davidson Minister's Conference, which is a fellowship of local churches from a variety of Christian traditions. But our central commitment is to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

     We believe that Jesus Christ has changed our lives forever and calls us all to be ministers of His life changing message and power in the world today. We are committed to Jesus Christ as the source of our life, to our life in this church as the center of our Christian identity, to being an expression of Jesus' life in this community, and to becoming an ever more faithful instrument in Christ's hand. We believe there is a place for everyone in the Kingdom of God and the church of Jesus Christ.
