Choir Director / Webmaster Edward Zell Edward Zell was born in Cheverly, Maryland and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida until moving to North Carolina in 1980. He attended Ledford High School in the Class of '86. After a 3 year stint with McDonald's, he attended Davidson County Community College pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering Technology. Afterwards, Mr. Zell enlisted in the U.S. Army for 8 years. In the middle of his tour with the Army, he married his love of many years, Renee' Largen. After his discarge from the service, he and his family returned to Winston-Salem in the fall of 1998. When asked, he states, "For now, I make my living working for Carolina Medical Parts repairing MRI and CT machines, but I make my life, with God, at Unity Baptist Church. Currently serving in several roles within the Church, I am reminded that, above all, it is all for the glory of God. I pray that I may decrease and become more insignificant so that my Lord may increase and become most significant."
